Wednesday, January 4th, 2017 | Dress Rehearsals Day Three

Announcements

• Today starts our rehearsal week | Schedule for the Week
• At the end of each day, the last ten minutes will be spent modeling the Feedback Form.  If you feel confident in doing this on your own, feel free to bring a few pieces of paper to write down feedback for the rehearsal exhibitors this week.  Any feedback is appreciated.
• Be ready to present any time from now until even the future.  We sometimes ask students to exhibit projects as examples and your project could always be a model for others.  
• Remember, if you have not contacted your places of employment, please request the nights of January 10th and 12th off.  They are required school days even though they are outside our normal hours.  This was shared in August when you registered for IDEAS Academy.
• In the first five minutes of each day this week, check in with your creation advisor to let them know where you are choosing to be an audience member.

• Remember, if your Project Block is NOT assigned to be an audience for a particular group of students, you are welcome to be an audience member in any other room... However, you MUST stay in the room you choose for the entire hour!
• We would like to remind you that your IDEAS Block grades are based expected to be filled out by your Creation Advisor.  If Molly is not your IDEAS Block creation advisor, do not email her.  Emails will be deleted because the expectations were already laid out.  Please talk to your creation advisor.

Rehearsals went very well yesterday and many of you are getting excited for feedback on your own presentations.  Think about the type of feedback that you want from others and apply those expectations for yourself for others (if anything, set your expectations even higher!)

Monday, January 2nd, 2017 | Exhibition Rehearsals Day One

Welcome to our Practice Exhibition week and welcome back from a much needed winter break.  I hope you are all refreshed and ready to take the rest of our school year head on.  It is important to treat this week like your real exhibition.  Prepare like you presenting your Exhibition this week.  Dress up like its your exhibition.  Treat it as though its the real deal.  That will help you mentally prepare for your real exhibition.
