Most writers regard the truth as their most valuable possession, and therefore are most economical in its use. ~ Mark Twain
Welcome
Writing is generative; every time we write, we develop new ideas, new thoughts, new ways of understanding the world around us. Every piece of writing constructed has a purpose, has an audience; thus, every piece of writing is unique, different than its predecessor. When we combine these two ideas, we become writers. When we publish the things we write, we become scholars. To be a scholar is to be a learner of the world. The Writing Center is a place for students to get help with their writing, whether it's a specific assignment, P-Block, or simply want to discuss writing. Having a rough-draft during conferences is advisable, but not necessary. The Writing Center is open to discuss ideas and beginning courses of action.
