Announcements

• We have made it clear that technology is not welcomed at the Arts Center, so many of you are starting to print off documents, etc.
• Great job at being prepared!!  However, if you need multiple copies of a document, please PRINT ONE.  Then, go make copies with the copy machine in the office.  The printer that is attached to your Chromebook takes a while to print documents off.  Plus, it costs money to print.  So, the less we can print, the better!
• There are still spots available for Exhibition Jobs (Please fill them up!)
• We would like to remind you that your IDEAS Block grades are based expected to be filled out by your Creation Advisor.  If Molly is not your IDEAS Block creation advisor, do not email her.  Emails will be deleted because the expectations were already laid out.  Please talk to your creation advisor.
• Advisors will be running their own studio time on Monday and Wednesday.  Friday starts project reflections
• Year Long Projects must schedule their year long panel meetings for after Exhibitions of Learning.  Any project that  fails to schedule these meetings or forget to include Addie and Tim in the process will most likely not continue on their current project trajectory.
• Sign up for Round Tables based on your IDEAS Block creation advisor:

• 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm (Erin, Drew & Stuart)

Friday, January 6th, 2017 | Revisions, Revisions, Revisions

Next week we take on Exhibitions of Learning.  Monday will have an installation time for Visual Artists for Gallery Walks.  Engineers are building walls for the installations on Monday morning.  

Announcements

• Anyone who missed a Rehearsal time will make up their rehearsal in their Art Form IDEAS Block. 
• Everyone who performed a rehearsal already  will be marked down in a Habits of Work Grade to show completion.  You also have been given feedback from your peers and advisors.  
• Remember, if you have not contacted your places of employment, please request the nights of January 10th and 12th off.  They are required school days even though they are outside our normal hours.  This was shared in August when you registered for IDEAS Academy.

• Take 10 minutes and figure out your path for Exhibitions.  Use a method that works for you.  You can use paper, a notepad, or even the Exhibition Planning Form

Do Next - Round Table Signup

• Please sign up to attend 3 different round tables for next week Wednesday. Each round table lasts for 20 minutes. 
• Please keep the audience numbers in each room as even as possible. It would be great to have no more than 10 in attendance for each round table. Remember, round tables are meant to be presented in front of a small group.

• Set studio time goals to make revisions to your presentations and be ready for Exhibitions.  Matting of Artist Statements will be occuring in the Visual Art Room.  Anything that needs moving, please contact Tim ASAP.

• Schedule for the Week
• At the end of each day, the last ten minutes will be spent modeling the Feedback Form.  If you feel confident in doing this on your own, feel free to bring a few pieces of paper to write down feedback for the rehearsal exhibitors this week.  Any feedback is appreciated.
• Be ready to present any time from now until even the future.  We sometimes ask students to exhibit projects as examples and your project could always be a model for others.  
• Remember, if you have not contacted your places of employment, please request the nights of January 10th and 12th off.  They are required school days even though they are outside our normal hours.  This was shared in August when you registered for IDEAS Academy.
• In the first five minutes of each day this week, check in with your creation advisor to let them know where you are choosing to be an audience member.
